Amanda, a self build family home with a touch of Victorian character

HOME STORY: I self built and project managed this build myself, a one of one self build in 2005. I’ve raised my 3 wonderful sons but it’s empty nest time now. They’ve all flown the nest and I’m embracing a new challenge of restoring a 1600 barn. The first photo is from when the boys moved into the house 20 years ago and the one with the tree represents a happy place we call our family tree, where the children played and climbed it as children.

Our house is a one of one architect designed premier guarantee build Self build in 2005, a 5 bedroom, 4 bathrooms, detached house with a touch of character from the Victorian era. One careful owner and family.
Slightly higher ceiling. Deep skirting board and panelled doors and stone window sills and character stone details. A beautiful family home that flows into each space. Loved and looked after by one family for 21 years.
In addition to a welcoming family home, there could also be a business opportunity, through the outbuilding studio lets.
Its former planning approval was for commercial use, and could potentially be returned. Perfect for Architects, design studio, beauticians etc.
The gardens have a large workshop home office area with heating and lighting.
The rear garden has a raised bed allotment garden and large double door shed.
