Nadine, looking to rent a home with a large garden or land

We’re looking for a home that gives us a little more space to enjoy the lifestyle we love. A large garden or some land would be ideal so we can continue growing our own fruit, vegetables and flowers, spend time outdoors with our dogs, and enjoy being surrounded by nature. We love peaceful surroundings, so a rural location would be our first choice, although we’d also be very happy in a quiet village with easy access to the countryside.
We’re relocating after the sale of our family home and are excited to explore a new area and become part of the local community. As my elderly mum lives with us, we need a home that works well for her too, ideally with ground-floor living or accommodation that is easily accessible.
More than anything, we’re looking for somewhere that feels like home, a place where we can settle in, make happy memories, and enjoy a slower pace of life. We understand the responsibility of caring for someone else’s property and would treat it with the same respect and attention as we have our own home.

*Our family unit consists of myself (Nadine), my partner Sean and my mum Suzanne. Our 2 friendly dogs, Maya and Myrtle. And our 4 friendly cats! Our canary and a chameleon called Harrold.

*Perfect Saturday morning: A relaxed morning with coffee in the garden, walking the dogs through the countryside, followed by tending to our vegetable patch before cooking breakfast together. We love peaceful weekends and making the most of the outdoors.

*Passions and interests: gardening, growing fruit and vegetables, nature, countryside walks, art, home improvement, cooking, traveling when we can, caring for our animals and spending time with family. We also enjoy supporting local businesses and becoming part of the communities we live in.

*Profession: I work full-time as an SAP Business Systems Manager for an international company and also run a small tattoo studio. My partner has experience in landscaping, fitness and property maintenance and will be relocating work. My mums retired (finally!)

*Heart warming story: our family has always had a soft spot for animals. Over the years we’ve welcomed rescue pets and made them part of the family, and they have a habit of bringing people together. Friends often joke that if they can’t find us, we’re probably in the garden chatting while one of the dogs has made a new friend. Home, to us, is about creating a calm, welcoming place where everyone, people and pets alike, feels safe and happy
