My husband Simon and I will be looking for a two bed cottage or apartment with a small garden or courtyard later this year. We love the south West of England, especially Bridport, Dartmouth, Sherborne and surrounding areas.
*I’m a published writer as well as writing facilitator. Simon is a pianist and also a part time painter and decorator. We love peace and quiet and love to create a beautiful interior that is welcoming and warm.
*Perfect Saturday morning: Simon is up early pottering and I prefer to relax and then have brunch.
*Passions and interests: Poetry, music, art and friendships.
We love to meet the locals and have fitted in wherever we have lived.
*Heart warming story: Simon and I are celebrating 30 years of togetherness this year. I have been through breast cancer and illness that has been very challenging but Simon has been a brilliant carer and has always lifted my spirits by playing the most beautiful music. We are currently travelling the UK after leaving our cottage in Hampshire and are meeting some lovely people. We sold our house some years back and love renting and making the house our own.
