We live in rural North Devon. As close to nature as I could get but close to the South West coast path and beaches of Bude, Sandymouth ,Northcott and Duck Pool. This is what drew us to the area.
We are close enough to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to visit the beaches daily.
We live 3 miles from a village that has a great grocery shop, vets, pub, butcher and doctors. You can get an appointment without any problems.
We have country lanes all around us to walk the dogs.
The dairy farm close by isn’t disruptive or causes us any issues. The farmer and his family are welcoming. It’s typical Devon .. bumpy roads, narrow lanes, wonderful views from our garden across the countryside and views of Dartmoor from our kitchen.
3 miles away as well towards the main road is a farm shop that does home food, cakes etc.
Our holiday home which is located on the same plot of land and is named after our Jack Russell. It’s a 1 bed barn conversion and have made this exceptionally successful and we take dogs.
It makes around £12-£13k a year. We have 5 stars.
